
Our Story
JT’s first opened it’s doors in 1985 when two friends, Jim and Thomas, decided to turn their love of New York style bagels into something bigger! Always locally owned and operated, the shop is now owned and managed by HB family the Murphy’s. Andrew, head of the household, has always lived that carb life (anyone who knows him will know his obsession with bread started as a child) so naturally purchasing a bagel shop was the next step. Over the years, most of the Murphy family, kids included, have worked in the shop and become bagel connoisseurs themselves!
All of our bagels are baked fresh in shop each morning in true New York fashion (boiled first is the only way to go!) and served with a selection of our house-made cream cheese. Or try one of our delicious bagel sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, or on the go. We also offer a wide variety of brewed coffee, tea, and smoothies to get your day started out right!
